SpRiNg Into Action!!!!

It's almost March so we should be thinking SPRING is coming. The great thing about March is that St.Patrick's Day decorating can actually SpRiNg you into action! St. Patty's is all about the GREEN & Spring is a time for new life! Green is a HUGE color for Spring! You don't have to go all out with the shamrocks & leprachauns. You can start out your decorating with small green touches throughout your home.

Add an old jar filled with split pea soup to your stove/sinkboard. The soup is sold dry in bags & is SUPER cheap! It brings such a great touch of green to your design!

Bring out your green items...front and center! Here is an antique scale...

How about this green handled rolling pin....

Place old green kitchen utensils in your displays, like this green sifter...

Add some springy garland or greenery to a tote or old watering can...

So what are you waiting for...GET BUSY...and dig out your GREENS!

  1. Way to "go green" Jenn! Love all of your photos! My absolute favorite pic is the one of the dried peas in the jar! Gorgeous! Have a great night! Take care. ~Sarah~

  2. Nice spring touches Jenn! I am sure ready for it too! Love your old tool box!

  3. I agree with Sarah. I would never have thought of that! It looks great!

  4. I love your decorating, always so warm and cozy!!!

  5. Wonderful displays!! I am going to get some of that pea soup, I love it in your jar.

  6. The spilt peas were a wonderful idea! Warm Blessings!~Amy

  7. Your home is probably my favourite. It looks so warm and cozy. Lovin the mason jar of split peas....I might have to copy that.

  8. Dear blog friends,
I am trying to put together a bloggers board.
This board would contain the name of the blog, the first name of the author ( last name, if you allow ) and birthday-- month and day only.
Once I get this put together, I will email to all participants.
If you know of others who would like to be listed, please give them my email address so I can add them.
I just think it would be handy to know when our friends birthdays are so we can send them our best wishes.
Those of you who have not yet sent me your address, please do. These will not be part of the blog board, but for my own personal address book. I like to send cards now and then.
