SpRiNg Into Action!!!!
It's almost March so we should be thinking SPRING is coming. The great thing about March is that St.Patrick's Day decorating can actually SpRiNg you into action! St. Patty's is all about the GREEN & Spring is a time for new life! Green is a HUGE color for Spring! You don't have to go all out with the shamrocks & leprachauns. You can start out your decorating with small green touches throughout your home.
Add an old jar filled with split pea soup to your stove/sinkboard. The soup is sold dry in bags & is SUPER cheap! It brings such a great touch of green to your design!
Bring out your green items...front and center! Here is an antique scale...
How about this green handled rolling pin....
Place old green kitchen utensils in your displays, like this green sifter...
Add some springy garland or greenery to a tote or old watering can...
So what are you waiting for...GET BUSY...and dig out your GREENS!

Tuesday Display Chain "BOWLS"
Ok, I was off on Monday so I forgot today was Tuesday! :) However, I am still going to post my BOWLS because I LOVE them! What prim girl doesn't?!
I just got these two new beauties at an antique store in Cobden, IL.
A bowl I repainted. I am not usually into painted really old bowls but this one had some ugly red stains & needed a little TLC so I painted it mustard & I LOVE how it turned out!
This is a small bowl I have all deocrated with a prim candle & pods in the Fall.
I have had this old pottery water pitcher & bowl set for years! Still one of my faves!
Here is a wooden bowl I keep propped up in my stepback hutch. It has wintery greenery & a cardinal laying against it to help bring in color! I also keep a garden tool propped up inside all year round.
Treenware with Fall pumpkins tucked inside...
Bitty bowl I repainted...
So, what are you waiting for....GET BUSY...and go hunt up some OLD BOWLS!!! They are great to display in bowl racks alone or fill with seasonal goodies! :)

"RAGS" Tuesday Display Chain
Today's display chain is about RAGS!
I placed one in my pantry that reads "GRUNGY GOODS"!
Here I placed one under my stoveboard to give it a softer feel.
In the living room they add just the right touch to an old wooden ladder.
RAGS often get changed out around my home at holidays...here is the pantry at Christmas!
Place a rag over the top of a cabinet door and leave it open! I like to change it out for holidays too. Here it is decked out for Valentine's Day.
RAGS are a fantastic way to add just the right touch to an area that may need a softer feel to it. So what are you waiting for...GET BUSY....and add a RAG to your display!
