Decorating a Christmas Kitchen

Ok...now that we have welcomed everyone in by decorating the OUTSIDE of our home...we have to decorate the most used room in the home...THE KITCHEN! :) The kitchen is the "hub" of the home, especially at Christmas time! You & your family most likely spend lots of time here entertaining guests & making those wonderfully delicious Christmas concoctions! Naturally, decorating this area can only aid in setting the perfect Christmas mood for rolling out GINGERBREAD men & making fudge! :) yummy!

Next to the table, on the floor, is an vintage bottle topper....I decorated a small tree with burlap sack snowmen & placed it in an enamelware bowl.

BUSY Decorating!!!

I have been busy decorating my home! I will show you the outside first. Everyone should decorate the outside of their home! You don't have to go all "Griswald" on your house and put up 10,000 lights just on your roof.....keep it simple! Primitive decorating is all about the simplicity! Use natural elements....it saves you money and you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs! :) You may, however, have to change your greenery, if it starts to dry out.
